My first quiestion is: What kind of sick person thought up this nasty idea? Sure, it makes for a great horror movie, probably one of the most disturbing ideas I have heard in the past at least 10 years. But, what kind of person was sitting somewhere, at some time, doing god knows what, thinking,"What is the mathematical equation for ass to mouth times 3 people plus a mad scientist? What would that be like? Could I make this into a movie?"

If you happen to be reading this because maybe you have heard of this Memorable Mutilations award winning movie and you don't want to take the risk of throwing up in your mouth or being so affected by this movie that you can never get your normal life back, don't worry: you won't. In fact, right now, if you know this movie is about a crazed German(fucking Germans) surgeon deciding he wants to surgically attach three poeple together yet create a fluid single digestive tract that flows through each person to the next, you are probably thinking of much worse images than are displayed in this film. You do see the "centipede" in all its glory, a young woman being #3(her mouth attached to #2 butthole, mouth gaping open as to digest the..um...you get the idea), her bestee female being #2(butt attached to #3, but her mouth is also attached to #1 butthole), and a Japanese man being #1(figures it would be a man's ass attached to a girl's mouth, he doesn't even have to go through the most horrible part, his mouth is not attached to anything). But when you see the centipede writhing around, young man in front screaming in Japanese and cursing, you never really have to see the, shall we say "fluids" going from one person to next.

Instead, this movie counts on the great and natural acting on the part of the players that make up the centipede. Thier disgust and horror during these critical moments allow the audience to fill in the blanks, making for a possibly more grisly movie than if the gore was completely out there since relies on each individual audience members own imagination. It does go without saying there are a few moments when one might be prone to vomit in their popcorn, but more than likely the faint of heart and queezy wouldn't be watching this anyways. I was more disgusted by the premise than the actual movie itself. I really didn't think it was so repulsive afterwards. I guess watching it allows viewer to realize it is incredibly goofy and pretty much impossible.

Stay strong readers, seek out this movie and watch. If you can handle a little bit of the absurdly disturbing, you should be able to handle "The Human Centipede". Besides, if there is a need for water cooler conversation, this is probably going to be the conversation starter of the fucking year.

When I rented this movie and watched it, I was sure my first impression was going to be,"Wow, Kristen Stewart honestly cannot fucking act!" I was incredibly wrong, while being slightly right.

My overall impression of the film was "Fuck yeah!" I think Dakota Fanning rocks the shit out of her part. She plays none other than the great Cherie Curry, the cherry-bomb rocking bitch herself. If you rent or buy this thinking that little Dakota Fanning is at again, you are going to be in for a big suprise. She makes a wonderful transition from sappy child roles to growing-into-woman film gold. For the most part, Dakota re-recorded the live performances for the film, and boy does she nail it straight on the head. I could play them back to back with the original recordings and someone who didnt know it was from the movie would more than likely think it was the originals. I truly applaud her willingness to forgoe her bullshit persona to take on this role. Do I smell an Oscar?

Kristen Stewart is suprisingly not horrible, but she bring a certain spaziness to Joan Jett that I didn't approve of. If she wasn't so damn spazzy all the fucking time, she might have actually been pretty good. Joan deserved to be played by someone who has the real chops and balls to play her. On the other hand, she does resemble Joan quite a bit, but that doesn't mean they should forget about acting just because she looks like the character.

I was even impressed with the modern scream queen herself, Scout Taylor Compton as Lita Ford. She looks alot like Lita, and even has similiar maneurisms. Unfortunately, the material portrays Lita in a pretty horrible light, and I left the movie wondering if she is really that much of a bitch. I have a feeling it was simply because the source material is written by Cherie.

My main beef was that the director chose to make alot of the story way too mushy in comparison to the book. There were choices that at times were just down right lame, and the actors seemed to feel awkward about acting them out.

Still, I highly recommend you watch if you have any rock bones in your body. It is a great rock movie because it teaches even a Runaways fan new things while breaking down the experiences for the new fans. Go get it now!!!!

I have seen alot of documentaries about horror classics in recent years, and I am not sure why. To be honest, why there have been so many doesn't make a lick of difference: every single one gets better than the next.

"Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy" is hands down the best documentary concerning horror films  I HAVE EVER SEEN. With this four hour loving tribute to the Nightmare On Elm Street series, every single second of film seems to get more and more interesting and entertaining as the next second rolls by.

Yes,  in the battle over Freddy VS Jason, I have always been a cheerleader on the Freddy side. That does not make me an obsessed fan. That being said, I felt there were no prerequisites to watching this documentary about ol' knives for fingers Freddy. In fact, I would be willing to bet money and say even if you have never watched a minute of any of the films in your life, this movie would be so great that one would watch all the way through, then probably go out and find copies of the franchise's films.

Almost every single member of cast, crew, or just superfans come out to take us on a journey through each film individually. There are even a couple of film chapters devoted to just the memorabillia and fans. I cannot really put my finger on why this documentary is so damn interesting and magnetic, but it was so wonderfully packed with entertaining anecdotes that the 4 hours seemed like they went by in less than half the time.  Part of this might have to do with the way this movie truly delves into every unexplored experience through the eyes of all the poeple involved in the process instead of just watching a bunch of critics tell audience why each film is great. As a matter of fact, some of the films themselves aren't that great at all, and the people giving the interview make fun of whichever one they were in.

There is a sense of humor  displayed by pretty much everyone involved that does not bring the movie down to a level of pretentiousness, and that is quite refreshing. Hell, Robert Englund could have probably just sat in front of a camera all alone and told one of the many crazy stories he gathered by playing Freddy and that would have still been pretty fucking great. For a guy who has maybe scared the pants off of any person who watched Nightmare on Elm Street, he is suprisingly funny and well spoken.

I would say immediatly go out and buy if you have any interest whatsoever in seeing this film, but good luck. I had to buy mine online because even some distributors have this thing on back order. I find it hard to believe that companies honestly had no idea this movie would sell, but then again, most of the idiots making said decisions don't have a clue what they are doing.

So, I could sit here and write an actual review on this fantastic fuckathon of a film, but we all know how wonderful it is, so why not just skip to my inspirado for writing this review: the blu ray.

First of all, the features are amazing. There is "Playing it Fast and Loose", a 15 minute documentary featurette that takes a look at the film. Even though none of the cast or crew are in doc, it still has some insightful interviews from noted critics and film buffs. And they all pretty much agree; Revesvoir Dogs was  a turning point in film history. The most interesting look is taken at the violence of the movie, and how most people are offended not by the actual violence itself, but instead by the way it is presented.

Another feature included on this edition is a little psuedo doc called "Profiling the Resevoir Dogs". For this, they had a profiler talk in detail about the major psychopaths in the film: Mr. White, Mr. Pink, Mr. Blonde, and Mr. Brown. Was very specific considering what little information the profiler had. Overall, I would say this gives everyone a better sense of the characters motives, that is if you inquired about them to begin with.

And I rreally can't forget the deleted scenes. 8 scenes that contain dialogue and jokes and action that is definitely worthy of the actual movie, but just didn't have the time to put them in. The infamous deleted scene would probably be the ear cutting scene. In these features, there are two different views that were never put in original film: one is a close up on ear while it is being cut off(pretty damn good sfx for the time if you ask me), then there is another take from farther away still showing more than original did. I understand why he took out these especially, since QT often likes to let the audience fill in the blank.

Another A for awesome feature is the "Pulp Factoid Viewer". This is sort of like commentary, but without having to listen to anybody talk. You turn the feature on, and throughout the movie subtitles come on displaying interesting facts and info during watching of movie. I was a little disappointed that they took some of the special features away that were in the last reissuing of Resevoir Dogs, but since I only spent $10 and because it looks really great in Hi Def, I am willing to let these few shortcomings slide.

I remember when I first saw this movie. I was probably about 11 or so. I really scared me when the bully is being chased by flaming Christine, but other than that I honestly could not have told much more about it that the face it was written by Steiphen King.

Now, I have truly seen the amazing movie that is Christine. John Carpenter directed it, and I don't really need to emphasize what everyone already knows: he is a fucking genius. Without his stlyish view of this otherworldly, fucked up looking car, the movie would in no way work. Even with Stephen Kings sick mind, another director would have overdone or underdone the scariness of the car itself, but Carpenter manages to creep the pants off you with subtlety.

I would also like to say that for an 80's horror film, the acting is pretty damn good. Good enough to invest you into the characters and make you care about them and what happens to them. Knowing the ending kind of ruined the whole "is he in the car or isn't he" dillemma but I admire the way it was done, and if I had seen it when it first came out, I probably would not have known.

My one problem; it kills me to see all those beautiful cars smashed to pieces and burnt. I think they only used one or two real ones and the others were just made to look like Christine, but it still made me cringe. Anyone could honestly love that car the way the protagonist did, and that is part of Christine's charm.

The old music adds a whole other creep effect to the mix. I have always been pretty fond of oldies, but this movie added the word "haunting" to the list of reasons why those songs are so great. And then ofcourse there is Goerge Thourogood and The Destroyers, adding the outline to the movie and making it a hell of a soundtrack.

In my opinion, this movie also represents the insane relationship between a man(and woman) and his/her car. There are alot of times while watching Christine that I thought the old bitch was going to get fucked. There is definitely caressing, like at the end when protogonist dies and in his last breath touches Christines grill and sort of puts his fingers inside of her. I don't need to explain the meaning of that scene because it is so odvious.

I strongly suggest taking another look at this movie. You may go into it thinking it will be "old" and corny, but I assure the suspense is still there and the sfx hold up very well.
